Background:
This one-day Pl session will be centred on the new EES text book (which covers all three stages) and will focus on those parts of the book relevant to the stage 2 syllabus.
The 2008 and 2009 stage 2 external exams and sample answer keys will be discussed as well as stage 2 level field trips and activities to include and enhance the course including a better understanding of the EES skills described in the syllabus.
This is a partnership between STAWA, Earth Science Western Australia and Curtin.
Outcomes:
Participants will receive a free copy of the brand new STAWA text book “Exploring Earth and Environmental Science, Stages 1, 2 and 3.”
Who Should Attend?
Aimed at teachers who are already teaching EES Stage 2 in 2010 and for teachers planning to offer this unit in 2011.
The cost to attend is $50 for STAWA members and $80.00 for non-members of STAWA.
